How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not a place for spectators; it is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Interest Groups (iGroups)
Often, small groups of people make it easier to interact with one another. For that reason, our church has various groups that meet weekly, monthly, or seasonally based on a common interest. These are iGroup schedules can be found on our weekly bulletin as well as through different Facebook groups. The groups that are currently active are:
Dance (seasonally)
Dominoes (weekly)
Paintball (seasonally)
Ultimate Frisbee (weekly)
Volleyball (seasonally)
Dance classes for our young ladies is a fun way for young girls to enjoy working together. These girls practice seasonally, starting in the fall, and usually debut a recital at the end of our Christmas program in December. For more information, keep an eye out in our weekly bulletins.

Looking for some competitive fellowship indoors? Try out our dominoes group that meets every Thursday afternoon in our youth building.

For those who enjoy more strategic competition, our paintball group is for you. For those more experienced, it’s a fun and relaxed way to hone your craft. For those with a general interest, come and try it out. This group meets weekly beginning in the winter months. Keep an eye out in the bulletin for information.

Ultimate Frisbee

Need a weekly extreme activity? Ultimate frisbee is the best way to enjoy fellowship within the confines of exercise. This group is welcoming, encouraging, and fun-filled. They meet weekly on Sunday afternoons, almost year-round.

Volleyball is a great family sport that combines exercise and fun. Our church has built an excellent outdoor beach court. This group meets weekly on Thursday evenings in the fall and spring.

Youth Ministry

Each Sunday morning, youth get to participate in their own classes on a close-knit level. Youth group meets on a larger scale on Friday’s as youth get to interact in a fun, active, and deeply spiritual way. We host occasional worship nights, game nights and over night trips so that these youth can experience community.

Men and Women’s Bible Study

Small-knit bible studies are the basis for building a strong church. We have created various ways to keep our members connected and active. Two of these ways are creating a separate men’s and women’s bible study. Both groups meet, separately, on Thursday evenings at 7pm in our youth building. All are welcome and encouraged to get plugged into a small group. For more information check out our weekly bulletin, calendar, and Facebook page.
