The purpose of GracePointe Church is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ in our community. The vision of our church is to glorify God, make true disciples by means of missionary activity and support, edify believers, and to do all that is possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Leadership Team:
Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Phil McCoy, Senior Pastor
John 15:13-15 shares a wonderful definition and promise of friendship.  Following the example of Christ, we learn what friendship truly is.  It is my hope that you find GracePointe Church to be the embodiment of Christian friendship.
My goal as pastor is a simple one.  My first desire is to introduce people who do not yet know Him to Jesus.  In Jesus Christ, and in Him alone, can we find the joy of knowing our sins are forgiven and receive the promise of eternal; life.  For those who know Jesus as their personal Savior, my desire is that GracePointe will help them grow in their walk with the Lord, so that they may become better and more effective witnesses to His love and grace.
I trust that you will sense the presence of the Lord as we gather for worship.  I hope you feel as though you are among friends here at GracePointe, and I invite you to consider us your church.  Please join us as we grow together in Christ.
Billy Staggs, Youth Pastor
Philippians 1:21, I pray  that this is how I live my life everyday.
I am the oldest of six and married to my beautiful wife, Emmalee Reese Staggs.  I come from a great Christ centered home, my family has always encouraged me to follow the Lord fully, no matter what the cost. 1 Timothy 4:1.
GracePointe’s youth group is called Element 22, or E22 for short.  Element 22 stands for titanium and being unbreakable.
I have a passion for the youth of today and tomorrow, and I want to encourage them to live fully for the Lord, holding nothing back!  I want the youth to know that it’s their  walk with Christ, not their parent’s, our their grandparent’s, but theirs!
I have been blessed to get the chance to serve on staff at GracePointe Church and to be the youth pastor for E22!
Harvey Staggs, Children’s Pastor
In Proverbs 22:6, we are instructed to train up our children. My wife and I feel that we were called into ministry to help with this training. In 1999 we began our personal relationship with Jesus Christ and shortly after that we found ourselves having a great passion to serve and help teach the children about their relationship with God. Over the next ten or so years we helped in the nursery, taught classes, coordinated teachers, and volunteered for VBS. In January 2011 I was given the opportunity to take the position of GracePointe Children’s Pastor and I am blessed to have this opportunity. I feel that there is no child too young to learn and we need to encourage them to have and grow a personal relationship with Jesus. I invite you to come and be a part of our church.A little bit about myself and my family.

I was born and raised in Illinois and in 1989 I married Regina “Gina” Staggs. Gina and I have six wonderful children, Billy, Brandon, Brittany, Brooke, Elijah and Noah. All of our children love the Lord and are a joy to serve with. In 1998 Gina and I decided to move to Georgia and create a better life for our family, and through Jesus Christ we have that life.

Kaitlyn Staggs, Worship Leader
“Worship is when we give God His breath back.” -Louie Giglio
I am a wife to my wonderful husband, Brandon. I am a mother to a beautiful baby girl, Hanna, and her brother,Michael is due in January. We are part of a big and loving family that includes blood relatives as well as church family, I have always had a passion for music and the emotions that can be drawn from it. I seek out songs that truly represent who God is, what our church believes, and where my heart is personally. As a worship leader, my goal is to create an atmosphere that allows the congregation to worship freely. I believe in worshiping God with our whole lives because He gave us His.
“Come let us worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of His pasture, the flock under His care.” -Psalm 95:6-7
